Mill Creek Skin & Laser

We came to the Mill Creek Skin and Laser Center looking for a miracle. Our son Taylor is an amazing young man. He is smart, handsome, kind, generous, and helpful. We have been truly blessed to have him as a son. When he reached the teen years he began having acne problems.

We started out with the usual over-the-counter medications that we all hear about. You know the ones, Stridex, Clearasil, Oxy products, etc. None of them worked. We moved on to the ProActive line of products. Watching those infomercials was very convincing. We tried using those products for 6 months. But here we were back where we started.

We next took Taylor to the doctor where he had him begin a regimen of oral and topical antibiotics. He seemed to improve for a little while, then it looked as though things got worse. We tried this for a year-and-a-half, then did not know where else to go.

Through all of this time, Taylor never complained. He knew that acne problems typically arise during the teen years, and some people have worse problems than others. He had just accepted it, which made it all the more heartbreaking for us, his parents. We just didn’t know where else to turn.

We came across the Mill Creek Skin and Laser Center on the internet. The website told of all the options available, so we thought we would go in for a consultation.

When we met with Dr. Lin and Julie, we were encouraged. We told them about all we had been through over the past few years, and had them give him a thorough examination and assess his skin.

They explained everything in great detail so we knew what to expect every step along the way. When they tell you that it will look worse before it looks better, believe them. It is a process that has many steps. We began coming in every week for treatments.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed getting to know Lorie, Shelly, Yvonne, Karen, and Julie. They were kind and helped me to understand the whole process.

About a month into it I wondered if it was really working, but Taylor was feeling an improvement beneath the surface. Julie showed me every step along the way, where it was getting better. She monitored his diet, and his cleansing practices. She was extremely thorough. Suddenly things began looking better.

Now we come in for monthly maintenance. We barely even need that. Taylor’s routine is so easy, the products are working wonderfully, as if they have been especially created just for him, and he hardly ever even has a pimple anymore.

The best part for us is seeing his confidence return. He now holds his head high and smiles at everyone he sees. He is outgoing again. We are forever grateful for what you have done for us.
