Glacial Skin Procedure
The treatment is a relaxing session typically lasting 15-30 minutes depending on if you are adding the treatment after your laser procedure or doing the treatment by itself (can also be longer with larger areas). You will feel a refreshing cooling sensation along the treated area. The process is not painful, and there is no downtime. The use of heat protecting sunscreen: Total Defense, All Calm, Flex, and sun-protective clothing are both highly recommended before and after your treatment. This will help your results be more significant and last longer.
Results
One session will typically show results in one month or less, and ratings of global aesthetic improvement show 91% and 93% of treated areas were rated as aesthetically improved at two months. Evidence suggests melanin production slows for an extended period giving long-lasting results, especially with skincare and reduced sun exposure. Follow-up treatments will provide more improved and further extended results, and it is safe to get as many treatments as desired.
